Review of Dollar Tree Salted Sunflower Seeds

 Flavor: 4/5

These seeds have no flavoring on them, but they do have a flavor about them, as all sunflower seeds do. These seeds have a nice roasted flavor, not too strong but definitely noticeable. The kernel inside has a pleasant sunflower seed flavor, not anything fancy.

Salt: 3/5

There is quite a bit of salt on these seeds. I do enjoy salt, so it is nice to have a good, salty seed every once in a while. There is too much salt on this seed to eat them consistently though, if you eat too many you will get a tongue burn that will last a few days. There is 6.3mg of sodium per gram of seeds according to the nutrition facts, but I feel as if that is very wrong.

Seed Quality: 1/5

Small, round seeds. Broken seeds in the bag. Stems in the bag. A shell that is prone to splintering. Average seed length of around .45 inches or 11.4mm. A very, very low quality seed.

Price: 4/5

The price of this bag was $1 for 6.56oz (186g). That comes out to be $0.15 per ounce, or $0.53 per 100g.
